I've spent more than 13 years working in HR, payroll, operations and practice management across a wide range of businesses and industries. And in all of that time, one thing has stayed consistent. Small businesses are underserved.

Not because the people running them don't care. Quite the opposite. The business owners I work with are some of the most hardworking, committed people I've ever met. They care deeply about their teams. They want to do the right thing. But they're running fast, and the HR and payroll foundations haven't always kept up.

I've seen what happens when that catches up with a business. A Fair Work inquiry. A team member who discovers they've been underpaid. A contractor arrangement that doesn't hold up to scrutiny. A resignation that reveals the contract was never updated. It's stressful, expensive and, almost always, completely avoidable.

I started Kindred HR because I wanted to give small business owners access to the same quality of HR and payroll expertise that larger businesses take for granted, without the overhead of a full-time hire, and without the corporate price tag.

My approach is practical, direct and grounded in the real world of small business. I'm not here to hand you a 40-page policy document. I'm here to help you understand where you stand, fix what needs fixing, and build a people foundation your business can genuinely grow on.
